Airbus A350-1000
On the Auckland – Doha leg, Qatar Airways has deployed it’s signature aircraft the Airbus A350-1000 which continues to be the longest route on it’s network.

Qatar Airways Airbus A350-1000 offers the range and comfort that business travellers demand offering an unmatched experience. It offers a spacious cabin across a two class configuration with destination-inspired cuisine and award-winning hospitality. The Airbus A350-1000 fuselage is made from a carbon-fibre composite plastic rather than aluminum which means that the cabin can be pressurised more. On the Qatar Airways Airbus A350-1000, one can be flying at 35,000 to 40,000 feet, but the cabin will be at around 5,500 feet. This reduces effects of jet lag and is less fatiguing on one of the World’s longest flight routes. The Airbus A350-1000 is also greener and burns 25% less fuel than most previous generation aircraft.
