serko.travel partners with 2Degrees to offer free to use travel technology to SMEs
- October 4, 2016
serko.travel, offering free to use travel booking and expense management, has announced a new referral partnership with 2degrees that will see the New Zealand telecommunications provider recommend serko.travel to its small business customers in New Zealand.
2degrees launched on 4 August 2009 and is New Zealand’s fastest growing full service telecommunications provider.
“2degrees have been in the business segment for five years, have a strong customer base and with travel management becoming increasingly mobile, 2degrees is a perfect fit.” Says Darrin Grafton CEO of serko.travel. As a free-to-use travel management system designed specifically for SMEs in NZ, we have a unique opportunity to create value for everyone involved.”
Serko.travel launched in New Zealand on 25 July, giving small businesses access to the same travel booking technology and deals as larger corporations. The free application allows travellers to search, book and manage complete business trips involving multiple suppliers all in one place, and via mobile or desktop.
For businesses that book a lot of travel, serko.travel is the ideal add-on to Xero. The integration between the systems allows travel booking data from serko.travel to flow seamlessly into Xero, streamlining and simplifying the process of reconciling credit card statements.
Unlike any other online travel booking system, the online functionality of serko.travel will also be complemented by expert offline support from Helloworld for Business, Corporate Traveller and Flight Centre Business Travel. For the first time, they will offer Travel Expert services on an ‘on demand’ basis which means travellers only have to pay ‘if and when’ they need their services.
