The Star, Sydney’s treat for Crab lovers

The Star Sydney’s signature restaurants, BLACK Bar & Grill and Balla are making the most of the season’s best seafood and serving sensational crab specials for a limited time.

The special menus are available from Wednesday, 15 February to Tuesday, 28 February 2017.

Enjoy uninterrupted harbour views at one of Sydney’s favourite Italian restaurants and indulge in fresh crab with a Tuscan twist. Balla’s Executive Chef Gabriele Taddeucci has designed three exquisite crab dishes using the freshest king crab, mud crab and Alaskan crab with house-made pasta and fresh house-baked bread. Specials include:

King Crab Bruschetta with tomato and basil ($26)

Organic Semolina Penne with spicy mud crab and chives ($32)

Crispy Alaskan Crab with zucchini, zucchini flowers and tartare mayo ($46)

Dishes are available for lunch and dinner individually, or three courses for $99.

Treat yourself to decadent crab specials and the best in waterside dining at The Star’s contemporary Australian grill, BLACK Bar & Grill. Executive Chef Dany Karam has sourced the freshest soft shell crab and spanner crab to prepare three seasonal dishes to accompany BLACK’s extensive menu of more than 14 premium cuts of Australian grain, ration and grass-fed beef and signature seafood dishes.

Soft Shell Crab Slider, lettuce, tomato, chipotle mayonnaise ($12 each)

Spanner Crab Baked, three cheese sauce, brioche, herb salad ($36)

Fillet Grass fed angus, crab remoulade, pickled red onion, fennel charred lemon ($57)
