2019 Skytrax Airline of the Year, Qatar Airways is one of the top airlines flying out of Auckland. Its multi-award winning Qsuite paired with top gastronomy in a brasserie style dine on demand and spectacular guest service is the pinnacle of airline services in the sky today.
Qatar Airways offers daily flights from Auckland to over 160 destinations world-wide. And the reason to book your next journey on Qatar Airways just became a whole lot sweeter.
NZ Business Traveller has had word that under a special promotion, you can propel to a Gold or a Platinum member with just one flight when you book a Business Class ticket on any Qatar Airways service through to October 25, 2019 for travel until March 2020. This can also be achieved for a one way trip. That’s not all – these benefits are far reaching as Qatar Airways is Oneworld alliance member and so this offer strays over across other Oneworld carriers including Qantas, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific and equates to the respective airlines’ status as achieved with Qatar Airways.
Lavish benefits include access to business class and first class lounges, priority check-in and boarding, a more generous checked luggage allowance, and being higher up the pecking order when it comes to upgrades.
Here’s the lowdown on getting your Gold Status with Qatar Airways and Oneworld:
- Sign up for Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club frequent flier programme here. It’s free to join. When you join as a new member, you’ll be at Burgundy Tier.
- Book a Qatar Airways flight from Auckland, in Business Class by 25 October 2019, for travel until 31 March 2020.
- Register for the fast-track promotion with your flight details that you’ve booked by logging into your Privilege Club account.
- That’s it. You’re all set to be bumped up to the next level. Privilege Club Burgundy and Silver members will move up to Gold status. If you’re currently at Privilege Club Gold you’ll be upgraded to Platinum. If you’re an existing Privilege Club Platinum member, your Platinum status will be extended for one year beyond your tier expiry date.
